I’ve always loved to talk. As a kid, I was eternally moving my behavior card down from green, to yellow, to red, simply because of how much I talked in class. I was the bane of every band practice, quiet school assembly, and bus driver. To this day, I can talk with just about anybody. It doesn’t matter what we’re talking about, as long as someone is saying something. Communication is not my hobby–it’s my passion.

Born and raised in Indiana, with a passion for horses and popcorn (two of our greatest exports). I love writing pretty prose and making ugly art. In my spare time you can find me being bad at video games, and good at talking my friends into watching classic movies. For starters, I’m horse obsessed. I’ve been riding on and off since I was a child. In college, I competed with the IU Western Equestrian team, which taught me how to put on a show for a crowd while strapped to a dangerous animal. When I’m not in the saddle, I can usually be found working on a new short story. I discovered fiction writing in middle school, and my fingers have been attached to a keyboard every since. I’m also a sucker for celebrity gossip and standup comedy. My friends like to send me posts from Deuxmoi on Instagram, only for me to tell them that I’ve seen it already. I followed Josh Johnson on social media before it was cool. And yes, I will be watching the Devil Wears Prada sequel when it releases in theaters.
